Spearheading the revival of regional textile practices, Huda Baroudi and Maria Hibri cofounded Bokja in 2000. The Beirut-based design and craft atelier produces meticulously detailed, handmade wearables, accessories, and furniture and serves as a curator of unique personal stories in fabric form. The brand works with a network of artisans, carpenters, and designers from various countries across the Middle East, including Syria, Iraq, Egypt, and Lebanon.
