With one foot in design and the other in social responsibility, VEJA aims to create sneakers that stand the test of time. Not only does the ultra-transparent brand make wearable shoes, but it does so by using organically farmed raw materials and upcycled plastic bottles. The organic cotton they use is made by farmer associations in Brazil and Peru, harvested with respect for people and the environment. The soles are made of 20 to 30% natural rubber, paying the producer families an additional premium for the rubber's excellent quality and forest conservation.
